This just happened (8-3-2011), my car got flooded in my neighborhood.

That day i went to work I drove my girlfriends car, next thing I know I get a text from my roommate telling me to come home now with this pic attached. When I got up to the car, the water receded and then inside there was 2"-3" of stagnant water in the car. Judging from the water lines, at one point the water was probably waist deep if you were sitting down.

I can honestly say I hope this car is totaled, I know it will never be the same if it was fixed.
