So I just installed a water/meth kit, and used the washer fluid tank to hold the water/meth thinking that the sensor would let me know when the fluid was low... when I turned the car on, the sensor on my MFD was on, and would not go away, the tank is full :help: so why would the sensor still be on??

distilled water has no electrolytes in it to complete an electrical circuit for the sensor (ie: conduct electricity). look on google, you may be able to add a dash of salt or something to it to make it conduct

i use tap water for my WAI mixture, and i am golden cero problems, but well i guess it all depends of how much salts and so haves the tap water of your town/city....

also instead of salt you can add a cup of regular water and you should be fine...

if by any chance your are not using distilled water and still having the problem, chances are the methanol corroded your level meter terminals, in that case you are gonna have to change the sensor..
