Ready to race!
so heres the deal,
my birthday is coming up and my parents have agreed to get a new cold air intake for the car. so far all i have upgraded is the suspension (koni coilovers) and this is the next move only because it suits my parents bday spending amount. the next move after this is the stage 1 apr tune obviously.

ive been looking at a few intake systems and ive decided between these two:

K&N typhoon and the APR carbonio (stage1 FSI)

im curious to know what everone is running, whats working for them, and if you have any other suggestions other than the two options i have listed!
are those carbonio intakes any good? they look so wack to me

I have the Carbonio stage1 and stage2. I like it a lot a little pricey.

BSH or EVOMS both are identical and great intakes, the APR one is kinda junk they are releasing a new one soon that should kick ass

BSH does not sound like a typical filter on a stick very quiet.

if you want sound, save up for an catback.

the intakes for our car sounds like crap, sounds like something is broken or leaking.

i removed mine after i tuned my car, the extra boost makes all those annoying "broken" sound that much lounder.

the car actually sounds somewhat sportier after the tune, because you can hear the turbo spooling even with out an aftermarket intake.
