what pressure on oem dunlop sportmax ?

hey all, what pressures are people running for their 09 R32s with dunlop sportmax ???

fuel filler door label says cold pressure is 32psi. this seems 4 psi too low for a performance tyre. I had same tyres on previous car except 19in and recommended pressure was 36psi.

i ran mine at about 38psi

yeah, im running 36. anything less feels spongy.

soooo, why does vdub say we should run 32 ? it is an R range car so a little more thought went into performance hopefully.

Having a slightly lower PSI can give you more cornering grip, but at the expense of more wear. Granted, it's not under-inflated.

18's should run high .
I run 40 all round with good wear and grip. (235/40/18)
Normally the larger the rim diam for same size overall tyre diam more air is req to hold same weight.
32 just doesnt sound right. My tyre label says about 40psi.

I run 38 front, 36 rear on my 235/40/18s.
Seems to dull some of the understeer & the wear rate is very even too.
