You need to give more info than that for an opinion!

A 2008 GTI w/ DSG and 18" wheels (assuming you dont want other options) cost $23693 (invoice) so assuming you can get the car for invoice that least $1300 for tax, tags, and title. So depending on tax in your state you might come in a bit over.

If you want a stick then it would be done more easily as the invoice is about $1000 less than the DSG.
