trading in a GTI for a Jetta? Yikes, quality of parts are different. If anything, trade in GTI and get a golf to save $$

I just want something different.

I'm over putting so much time and money into my car to just have it hit in a parking lot and no note left. I care way too much about my GTI for it to be a daily driver.

Tiguan has been great to me so far… granted I get to jump in and out of the Rabbit to get the fun fix (Tiguan is not a fun driver- lol) but seeing how @wasbaggedonce never really posts about performance mods I’m not sure he cares.

Also, surprisingly the Tiguan gets a lot of attention from people when it’s out

Even with the nuespeed power model and a splash of e85 though it’s still right under what a stock gti feels like in regards to being “quick”




I wouldn’t say new car pricing is inflated with VW as much as it’s just not able to get deals off sticker price. When we got this it was either pay 32.5 for brand now or 31.5 for 1-2 year preowned same model -lol.

Raceland coilovers for the GTI/golf R.

Double edged sword… stupid comfortable for a car this low since it’s undersprung and dampened (for cars that are 3200-3300 lbs (fwd Tiguan is like 3700) but it’s also too soft for this height going 80 and hitting big dips/bumps as it rubs the fender liners easy.

The fronts are fine, for the height I like the tig at but the rear I have maxed out and still need to add 1” sleeve spacers for when all 3 kids get in the car and weight it down .

But the drop is actually massive VS stock
Like I would like 5” easy

I wouldn't advise flashing without a battery charger especially when you first install the AP. If you brick the ECU you're screwed.

I didn’t use one when I installed mine but I also keep a battery tender 2a on the battery full time since I don’t drive it too much.
