"Galbi-style" lomein. "Style" because I used pork tenderloin instead of the traditional cross-cut short ribs.

A little bit of fusion...picadillo from the south, and the poutine concept from the north. I didn't have any cheese curds, unfortunately, but compensated with some melted queso sauce on the fries, and a sprinkle of cotija on top.

I'll do something on plates soon...

Maybe I should start a food blog called "Tectonic Plates" or something...LOL!

Going bowling some more...Mediterranean fried rice, with merguez sausage, pistachios, and feta.

And a plate of Friday-night fire for me:

Pork tenderloin schnitzel with spaetzle and caramelized red onion, and roasted broccoli tossed in a warm Barenjager and lemon vinaigrette...

If your unfamiliar with it (as I was), Barenjager is a German honey liqueur. My son picked up a bottle of it, so I figured I'd try using it in something. I burned off the alcohol with a brulee torch before making the dressing.

Mrs Mud scored prime rib! This time of year you can get it for $5/#. A 5# piece along with yorkshire pudding, taters, Bnut squash and some green veg. I may also make a apple/cranberry sauce
