Weitek Springs

Hi All,

Thinking of buying some Weitek springs from someone on a dif forum. Anyone know if they are any good and ok to run on standard GTI shockies.

unless they are on another mkv gti, i wouldnt buy it.

Its for a MkV on a different VW forum. I was after opinions as i hav never heard of the brand. Also wondering if lowering with the weiteks would b ok on stock shocks.

oh ok, yea i've never heard of the brand either, so i thought maybe it was for another type of car lol. didn't mean to think your a noob or anything

Weitec is essentially the same stuff as KW. I wouldn't hesitate buying it.

That said, from the people I have spoken to, just lowered springs on stock dampeners, cause the ride to bounce more and potentially crash.

Save your dollars for a kit or coilovers.
