Wax Pen residual removal?

Hi all,

when my car is wet/foggy etc.. I can see what was once wax pen written on my winshield and a couple of windows (car was bought at auction)..
I can't seem to remove it.. tried general window cleaner, and spray nine, neither seems to work...

any thoughts?

You should try a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water, pretty strong, cheap to try it out (instead of purchasing a cleaner) and does away with car waxes/sealants so be careful not to get it on your clear, it may do the trick in regards to the wax pen. There's other alternatives which I'm sure others will recommend, stoner's invisible glass works well but I don't know if it will eliminate the residue of a wax pen (it took off the car sticker residue on my car though).
