VW flip key to Touareg smart key?

Has anyone done this before?
I have a mk6 GTD with a kessy system and i'm interested to make this key change. Is there any chance?

Cant you just buy the Toureg shell and swap the innards?

I'm not sure if it fits. That's why i'm asking. I only need to change the shell but does it fit? If not, is it possible to code that key to work with my car?

I see different frequencies listed on ebay. Do you know if your key is maybe 315 or 433 MHZ? You can get a china made one to try for $33.

My key is 434 MHZ, but i don't want to buy a shell just to make it garbage if it doesn't fit . That's why i'm here asking you if someone has done it before
