The front already has a lot of caster, not sure a 1/2 degree is going to make that much difference. As said, the big benefit is the stiffer mount. Maintaining camber on hard corners = huge benefit.

A read on what they're trying to achieve is certainly interesting though:

I should have taken some pics, but one thing I noticed after running with TT arms and bushings at the track for a couple years, not only can the rear bushing deflect a lot (which the TT bushing helps a lot with), the front bushing, even being small and solid, undergoes a lot of deflection under track load. I could see marks on the control arm that indicated the rubber bushing was being highly compressed. For auto-x or track work I'd suggest forgetting about rubber bushings entirely.

So if you were to do it again, you'd not go with rubber bushings if you tracked/auto'd your GTI?

That leads me to my next set of questions. I've had my GTI for over 10 years. It's on worn suspension. I'm still deciding between Bilstein B8 sport shocks from the Mk6 paired with sport springs or Eibach Multi-Pro R1's. I have an MFactory LSD that'll be getting installed along with a replacement transmission. I'll also be getting a 26mm H&R FSB for it. I have a 24mm H&R RSB currently. Tyrolsport subframe kit. I plan on getting the 034 strut mounts as well as Passat LCA's and spindles. It has 152k on it. Planning on spirited street driving, autox, and eventually some track time. It is not a daily driver anymore.

If you guys had to choose, what would you go with? Powerflex, Whiteline, or SuperPro?

Per the Powerflex P/N's on ECS, the Passat LCA front LCA rear bushings are different than the Mk5/6 LCA rear bushings. I'm guessing this is due to the slightly different bracket design between the 5/6 and Passat/TT LCA's?

However, the P/N for the Whiteline front LCA rear bushing is the same between both the Mk5 and Passat. The same is true for the SuperPro ALK.

Finally, at 152k, should I replace the front LCA bushings as well? I thought I was set on the SuperPro ALK, but there are so many options.
