You didn't ask people to confirm.

You said you were confirming. That implies that you took it that those people would be attending and they would need to tell you otherwise.

The sensible thing would be to put those people in the list pending them withdrawing.

Silence is acceptance.

I was just letting people know on this forum we had a dyno day.
