Using VAGCOM to log hp/torque?

Hi,

I remember reading a while back that there's a way to calculate torque and HP readings using vagcom. In actual fact, I found a measuring block for torque, but I'm wondering how accurite it is once chipped.

With respect to the HP calculation, I really can't remember where I saw it and I haven't found anything through some initial searching. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How accurate are either of these if I'm chipped?

IIRC you cannot use VAG-COM to log horsepower. However I'm sure someone will correct me if it is in fact possible.

You can't log your HP or torque.

Guys, I'm telling you I read something about that. I've found a .xls file that has the functions for making the calculations, but there was a pdf file that had some details on it. I wish I had saved it.

You're right, there is a torque measuring block. And HP can be calculated from it. However, ITS NOT ACCURATE if you're chipped.
