Trade in?

11 GTI with 30,000 miles, owe 12,800. Payments are 230.

FOR

06 Evo 9 with 35,000 miles @ 22,400.

It's got leather recaro's, sunroof, turboback exhaust, and an intake.

Sooo tempting.

What does the amount you "owe" have to do with anything? Your car should be worth more.... is this an "even" trade?

have you ever driven an EVO? They ride like shit and are hideous inside.

Because I won't trade the car in. My family owns a dealership, so we would sell it off ourselves. So basically if I can get "hopefully" 18/19k, dump the mods for around 2k, I can put like 8 or 9 down. My dad would spot the 2k from the mods, that I 100% know I could sell, and I'd just pay him back as I sold everything.

Then my payments would be within $20-$40 of the GTI. I've never personally driven one but I have two friends that own X's. I don't mind the ride, it's just the AWD and speed that beckons me. And it sounds goooood. Nevermind a better sound system.. and it's fucking manual. DSG = iwfjaoifwbaoiufwbaoifbaf

Discovered it was in a front end collision a year ago, not even going to bother. So hard to come by them with low[er] mileage, oh well the quest continues.
