To polish or not to polish?

with the wheels off for the winter, ive been thinking of doing something new with them. ive been thinking of stripping them and polishing them, or possibly painting them a new color.

i just want to see what other people think about these.

if you choose to paint, say what color(s) you think would look good

flat black was one of my ideas, but on the lip i was gonna do some sort of wild design using a couple colors (prolly white, black, and silver)

the takata green is definitely different but not sure if that would look good on RS
