Hey guys....... i have noticed a thump when planting the foot.
Its the MK5 R32, manual, everything stock.
I notice it first when i was driving along about 60 and i went to over take and dropped it into 4th, held on the revs and then put the foot down, when i did put the foot down there was a wee thump, i havnt really noticed it much in any other gear but i did try it in 3rd, about 50mph held the revs waiting to pass and then put the foot down and there was a slight thump again.
Is it the haldex kicking in? or are we looking at a gear box or clutch problem?
MOT and Service ( including haldex ) was done in december.
Anyone help me?
