Our customer visited our office to pre-order our brand new Flow Formed V810’s. We discussed squeezing a larger 235/40/18 under the factory fenders as the car had been lowered. There were many variables that wouldn’t allow a rub-free fit with this width and offset. Rather discussing different brands, camber settings, and ride heights etc., we decided put them on! This particular setup won't be be an issue during normal riding conditions, but we recommend a minor fender roll if the car was lower, or during spirited driving. If you have any questions about tire sizes or this setup, please ask away! Enjoy the photos :happyanim:

This is the set up I would really like to go with.

I have:

2013 Golf TDI

VW Drivergear Springs - with DSG

I want to run VMR V710 with Conti DWS 235-40-18

How did this car do since the springs were lower than mine I assume?!?

Thanks!

Our typical recommended setup is 18x8.5 ET45 with 225/40/18.

235/40/18 can work, just like with the customer above. However, in order to be free of rubbing issues in all/most driving conditions a minor fender roll is advised
