You show a Tourag in your reliability list. A little more research is due man. I love mine. 0 issues here. Warranty includes 24 hour roadside assistance - including tows. Our dealership always gives us a loaner if the repairs/maintenance take more than a couple of hours. We have 2 VW's. both have been reliable. Gossett VW has been great. Took us from Ford, but thats an experience best shared another time in another fourm. I'm sorry dude, but any new car can fail. They are machines and mass produced. Anything is possible...

Yup. 295. Right north of exit 34. Semi's were whizzing past me at 70mph. It was fun.

Oh and to the other poster... the V1 is not hard wired. It's plugged into the ciggarette lighter.

VW called me today and confirmed that I need an alternator. Covered under warranty.
