Hey all,
2006 GTI, MT, no tune, BSH PCV Revamp, Neuspeed Intake, just under 100K miles.
Recently, I noticed that when I'm decelerating (usually in 6th gear slowing down from highway speeds), my engine intermittently shudders and seems to run a little "rougher." I can feel the shudder as a very slight vibration coming from the front of the car. No related CEL (although I do have a P2181 for a bad thermostat). When this does happen, I can give it some gas, go off acceleration, and it will go away. Car runs great otherwise.
Anyone else experience this?
One thing I did notice when I replaced the valve cover gasket recently - the orange PCV gasket had swelled a little. It looks like it could be potentially obstructing the channel that the BSH revamp reroutes crankcase gases. I still haven't replaced the gasket, but maybe that could be causing this?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
