Yes but remember your the only country that has that special designed high suspension, different bumpers, etc etc.
Costs more to ship to the US, VW still have to pay a tax as there shipping out of the EU.
So should it not even out?

The other funny thing is the UK is the BIGGEST market for the GTI they sell more here than anywere else according to VW so more sales does not equal cheaper prices. Or in other words if its true there selling the GTI in the USA at a loss were paying for there GTI.:wink: :tongue:

I live in Belgium, so all those things don't count for me. By the way VW has to ship al those GTI's over there and that costs a serious lot of money and they count it into the price of the GTI. If they wouldn't do that they would lose a serious lot of money on every GTI they would sell in America
