RCN210 No CANBUS Adapter?

Hello Everyone
I’ve recently chosen to upgrade the original radio system to the RCN210 and ordered it from AliExpress.
Only later I figured that in some cases the CANBUS Adapter is required for the system to work properly. My question is - is it mandatory even if the car has NO steering wheel buttons? Will I be able to install the new system without the adapter? What functions will be unavailable without it?

I have the RCN210 as well. The need for the adapter is most likely to plug it into the climate confort CANBUS as it was on mine. The radio needs some CANBUS data to work properly, for exemple Bluetooth with only work if you have the key in the ignition, so it will not work without it, you also need CANBUS data for speed volume (variable volume according to vehicle speed)
