RCD 300 stuck

Hi, recently tried to install an aux input to my RCD300, I know how to take the radio out, all the trim is off around it and the four screws are out. It just doesn't seem to want to slip out. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

So I attempted to get the radio out again today and had to take some initiative to get it out because I couldn't pull it out with my hands. So I came up with this and gave it a damned good pull and it seemed to give way with no damage.

This may look very stupid but it did work. Hope this helps anyone having the same problem.
