I just finished washing, polishing, and waxing my new baby, Gracie. Here she is with her older sister, Christie. I love the new window tint, and the Great Falls Green paint looks awesome in the sun. (I know some don't like it, but that's ok, I will just be special).

I love the Great Falls Green and Tartan Cloth combination. This spec was almost impossible to find and I had decided to order one and wait six weeks, but my dealer found one hiding on another lot and now she is in her knew loving home, now I just have to settle on which floor mats to go with.

By the way if anyone wants the VW OE optional rubber GTI Monster Mats, I am going to sell them, they are brand new still in the bag, but just nit my style. Just send me a PM and will work out a price and pick-up or shipping.

Reminds me of the green on the mid to late 90s Camaro. They had a darker green and then a lighter one that looked the same shade as your GTI's.

She is a 10 foot beauty, but needs some paint and bodywork to bring her back to her glory, but not a bad looking car to be almost 17 years old. Hood/trunk paint is faded from the the Florida sun, noticeable with the new bumper cover. But mechanically she is as better than the day she was new. I installed new Meghan Racing coilovers, new Fast Miata sway bars and end links, new Hankook tires on the Konig Rewind wheels, about 16 lbs on each corner.

LOVE the color combo, and the wheels are perfect!

i've had mk2/5/6 and 2 mk7 GTIs, but also a big mazda fan. well done!

Thank you, it has been fun restoring her, my inspiration was a classic British roadster. The wood steering wheel, shifter, ebrake, and trim came out of a 2001 Special Edition. They only made about 3,600 of the Crystal Blue Mica, so one of the less common color combinations, especially in the LS trim (tan leather/top). Its a fun little car to throw around the corners, not as fast/powerful as the GTI, but just as much fun to drive.
