My second one crapped out this morning. It's cold, I ejected a cd, CDC HARDWARE ERROR. Exactly what happened two years ago in January, IIRC.
If they won't replace mine under warranty, I may PM you for a used one.
Think they'll claim I voided the warranty by installing a Parrot handsfree kit?

Mine did that a year or so back and it ended up fixing itself after a few days. Very strange, but its been fine since.

It's usually the physical disc changer is broken.

It seems like the bitter cold affected mine so that the mechanics of the disc changer didn't work right. It's been working fine since last week. Freaked out in the morning, worked fine in the evening. It was like 16 degrees in the morning.
I probably should go in under warranty, but the dealership is such a PITA.

Mine just did the same... played disk 5 fine, then when i switched over to disk 6 and it CDC'd on me. Radio and Aux still work fine though, so not a big deal to me.
