out of curiosity, what is the appeal of a cat? Maybe I'm just a dog person, and maybe dogs require more attention/care but I feel like you get a lot more back from a dog than a cat in terms of unconditional love/loyalty and protection.

In my case we wanted a pet, but the apartment is quite anti-dog. I really thought the cat wouldn't grown on me but 2 years later I have another one.

Cats are fun because they are weird. Mine are friends and constantly either chasing each other around the house or having MMA style wrestling matches. I've seen cat on cat naked rear chokes, swear to god. One of them we taught to fetch things too, so that's how we get our dog fix.

Grambles, if we were closer, I'd say we should have our Goldens meet, ours (few posts up) is going to be a puppy till he dies, he loves to play.
