Do the same data log when the new coils are installed. If misfiring doesn't change...you should probably have its compression checked or buy a compression tester and check it yourself. Do not forget to unplug the injectors if you do the test yourself.

You may want to check for something else...it is rare, but it does happen. Sometimes spark plugs will drop their crush washers when removed...more so when someone removes and reinstalls the same plug a time or two. Next time you change the plugs, look at each to be sure they still have their washers attached to them. Then, slip a magnet down each plug hole to see if a washer had fallen off a previous plug....it may be stuck to the head. The magnet will stick if there is a washer in there...and not if it is just the head and no washers. A double washer will cause misfiring.

Also, if there is oil in the plug wells...be sure to clean and remove any oil down there before installing plugs. The rocker cover seal should be replaced if there is oil in any of the wells.
so i checked out the plugs/any washers left in the cylinders and it was all clear no oil plugs showed a reverse from the 8s and looked to more lean but installed plugs all gapped at .028 and the real oem r8 coils and had all good logs so far from what i can tell. Thanks

Hope it continues. If it returns in the near future, reduce the plug gap to 0.026". R8 coils have a thinner arc, so less gap may help.
