I love my leather seats. Last I checked they weren't hanging between my legs though so I'm pretty sure they don't make me a man.

Plaid seems to be a staple with Golf/GTI styling.. whether it be the most attractive option or not.

I'm not sure if it adds a "girly" aspect to the car, however, I definitely understand the desire for a more "mature" looking option.

That isn't even my car 1st of all. I just thought it was cool looking. 2nd of all plaid seats and the color pink are not "female things"..... My car is black, just like yours and The fact remains that i like my plaid seats....

I didn't think I'd like the plaid seat until I saw them in person for the first time. I think it works in the GTI and gives it a retro feel. I prefer them over the leather.
