OT: Euro Plates - Why BG?

I've got black Euro plates: N (have to have this in NSW) TG (my initials) 20T (you do the math).

They look the nuts and I've seen loads around, and there's one thing that's puzzling me: I'd say about 75% of the black euro plates I see on other cars are
N BG XXX or at least N BX XXX

Anyone know what's with the BG, or at least the B?

Maybe I'm being dense but I haven't sussed it...

umm maybe because alphabetically it's up to BX whatever
haha i dunno here in melb lots of the euro plates are V AX XXX because we're still only up to A's unless u get a custom one :)

don't the number plates go in order kinda like a-z ? like when the car is registered ? or maybe I have no idea. can't really explain my self it's late and im tired now

Good call. Logic says it's the ones that aren't custom and they're currently on BX... D'oh!

here in melb normal euros cost $395 and custom ones cost $695 - big difference out of ur pocket but at least it's only a once off payment
