1) Removed the housing, be careful and make sure you use non-marring tools. The PRDNS has a connector underneath it.

2) Some people use sandpaper, but I opted to use nail polish remover. Thanks to the wife, the liquid made it MUCH easier and less of a mess. However...

3) Make sure you don't leave it on for too long...

4) Four layers of plasti-dip later and voila, brand new.

When you were removing the black trim, how did you take the PRNDS chip off of the black part? I dissembled everything up until there. So now mine is just the black part that needs to be repainted+PRNDS lettering/chip. I got the chrome trim off but that's it. ><

There are clips behind. You'll need to pry it with a screwdriver.

Is there anything special to do to the D+-? It just seems like it won't fit through the black piece. :x Rather ask dumb questions than break my car. ;P
EDIT: nevermind, i just ripped it open and found it was two separate pieces. :3
