+ or - boost in cold?

I thought your gauge would read higher in cold temps but recently read that it has more to do with air mass so boost is lower.

Is this true? My gauge is reading a little on the low side but my actual vs spec seem to be just fine.

Thanks man. I figured it would be more dense in cold and have higher numbers. Can you help me make sense of why this thinking is wrong?

The way I see it...

Cold air is more dense. Because it takes less air to make up the same "mass" you're ECU is going to see this and adjust accordingly. If the air already coming in is more dense, that means you need less volume. Less volume will equate to less PSI in the plumbing.

Hopefully I'm right, but that's how I always thought of it...
