Bought a 07 GTI, as daily driver and cut back miles on my Golf R
Read got it at really good deal lol
anyway the MKV had AEM intake when purchased when I would accelerate quickly the care would stall and throw a EPC light.... local VW place told me its the AEM intake... suggest APR setup, got it and same issue now
So here is the concern... normal driving no issues at all
soo as try take off fast , stomp on gas the car lunges forward, stalls like it took in too much air, and bam EPC and traction control lights on the dash
What could be cause? Where should I check for issues, etc...
I found plenty on APR tune and EPC lights, but nothing on intakes and epc light...
find it odd can only happen if WOT ....
another thing is the car does not want to seem to idle...if i am in traffic and just give enough gas to move forward with traffic and then hit break too soon the car will literally die......but if i slowly break the RPMs drop down about 500 rpms, then bounce back to about 800rpms.... very odd
