New guy here. New to me, Non-nav TR MK5 R32 no. 2464. Its got 32K miles on it with zero mods other than the VolkL bluetooth kit I installed last saturday. I decided to start my mod list with the factory compass. Bought the compass module off this board and dug into the headliner but NO CONNECTOR: mad:
Does anyone have experience installing this in the R32 or other golf? I've found the location of the module on the TDI board via a VW depiction, just not the connector plug. Maybe the Mk5 R32's didn't even get the pre installed wiring?
Most euro cars have unused connectors wrapped in fuzzy tape and stowed close to the vacant module mounting locale.
Anyone familiar with this? I tried pinging VWVortex with no joy.
