Mk5 with a mk6 exhaust

This has probably been done a bunch of times since I’m not the first person to own the mk5 but here I’ll post a few pics of mine for all to see. Didn’t need any shop fab done because all the hangers lined up perfectly with the mk6 exhaust which leads me to believe the mk5 and mk6 are the same chassis just different shell lmao. Don’t know how true that is so correct me if my theory is wrong. I used a dremel and some sand paper and the results are a pretty damn clean cut. And ofc In vw fashion I couldnt Help but shoot a couple flames in the process.

For now I’ll be leaving it as is. I like the exposed look it has right now.

It’s one of those things you either love it or hate it. I love it. Eventually I’ll come around to making my own diffuser but for now I’m satisfied. Sounds great too
