I had a 2011 JCW

With a Cobb AC it was a monster. Scary fast!

Reliability and build quality is horrible with Mini's

I had an 03 JCW. It was more my wifes car. Loved it. It was as fast off the line as my 07 Stage 2 GTI. I suprised many a car.

I used to have an 05 cooper S supercharged man oh man do I miss that car lol lots of fun rattles everywhere but who cares when you are having sooo much fun, but it came with a price.... I had to fix something every other week but it was worth it.

The Mini was jittery on the highway. I really have enjoyed my forest 2 weeks with my GTI.

Maybe I am too grown up for them now. I like the solid feel of the Gti

Agreed. The mini was built for back roads. However I did get my JCW up to 140 on the highway. It didn't feel bad. But not as planted as my GTI was.
