MFD2 Nav and ipod adapter

The other day I purchased and installed an mfd2 nav unit in my mkv golf.
Does anyone know where there is a diy on the forums for the ipod adapter? I tried to search but could not find anything.

And for those who have it does your track name on your ipod show up on your nav screen????

The $40 i pod adaptor just plugs into the back of the head unit and you have to run the cord wherever you wish.

and no the ipod song track does not come up on the nav. it shows TRACK 1 and each play list is a CD.

There are two variants of the iPod adaptor. Not to be confused with the Aux adaptor (Nav can have both).
One iPod adaptor type is just a cable run to the glove box,
the other is installed in the option media bay console.
Either functions the same.
The media bay console is (was?) included with the factory Nav.
