i think it would be much easier if there are more people doing it,

and also we can have beers after that..hehe

i need help, and also, the paint would be too much for 1 car..
(havent bought it, but i saw it on ebay..cost us$48)

so if anyone nearby interested, please tell me..

depends, if u want to spray them on the car, you'll need the lense spray paint, masking tapes, and cartons or used newspaper..

but if u wanna take them off first, you'll also need some other tools that is needed to take off the tail light (i don't know much)..

i'm intrested.

i think taking them off would be the best way to go.
that way u avoid the paint running down the tail light.

isnt there are a way of using tint film these days?

paiting is something you need to do carefully with several coats and careful sanding to make it look good. Not just a case of slapping on a coat of paint and them looking amazing. Could be an expensive mistake if u dont get it right!

yea, i'm aware of it..
but, using tint film can't really give the r32 look tails..
its hard to make a circle in the middle of the tint as it is not a perfect circle..

so tinting could only smoke the whole lights..which doesn't really looks nice i think..

and about painting, i believe many members of this forum has done that..
like steviegti..

i'll ask them for guidance..hehe
thanks for ur oppinion btw..

aah i was thinking the opposite. Ive seen overlays with the circle cut out. Never seen them painted with the circle cut out in the middle.

Just asking here, will tinting the front and rear head lights to blacken it or to get that black smoke effect be considered illegal? Kinda similar to going below 35% tint on the car? I have seen a lot of rear tail lights tinted to the point that you hardly see the red lens and it looks good but just not sure if our RTA considers that as illegal.

?? sorry, but i don't get what u mean..??please explain..

i'm looking for r32 look tails..so i need to smoke (paint/ tint) the whole tails except the 4 circles right??i'll let the 4 circles NOT coloured..

not sure, but i'm not gonna make it any darker than the r32 version..
so wouldn't be hard to look at the reflective side marks..
and as i'll let the 4 circles un-painted, the lights could also be seen w/out any difficulty..

yeah I'm keen too.. I really want the circles to be clear though.. and I think you need to pry the light assembly apart and remove a lens or something.. Or maybe I'm wrong.. Either way I'm keen!!
