Lift or Elevator

Both good but Lift wins, its quicker to say ' Hold on I'm getting the lift' rather than 'Hold on I'm getting the elevator'

And it's more purposeful. I do love descriptive language. Lift can mean too many things.

It's like... trolley vs shopping cart

Or flat vs apartment

Or estate vs sedan

I mean to be honest double cream is very thick but so lovely with apple crumble, plus if your very saucy a touch of vanilla ice cream . Yum yum
