key fob help

So my fob went through the wash and i cant find my spare (im thinking it may be in the car) and i know it was a dumb thing to do so i dont need to hear anything about that. If I go to unlock the car with the hard key will it activate the alarm? i dont mind going without the automatic lock/unlock for awhile till i find the spare or buy a new fob but im afraid to unlock the door and have the alarm go off and not be able to get it off.


so could someone lock their car then go try unlock it with the hard key and let me know if it goes off or not?

It doesn't. That would negate the point of having a key. A trick if your alarm is going off and your key fob isn't working, unlock the car and then lock it, tada alarm off.
