connecting rods will help those who are going BT, connecting rods make the internals stronger when pushing more power, the K04 will be fine on stock internals, the hp numbers dont get that high off just the k04

k04+ nitrous. some good results have been had before, and for that you would want rods.

I am looking at options.
I have no problem spending the time to put rods in. As you can read, I have lot of Eurojet parts. If I was to look at a BT, I would like to see the Eurojet BT come back, to keep unity under the hood. That could be wishful dreaming.
I drive my car everyday, and after this year I will be pushing more horsepower, to what level I have not figured out personally, but doing rods regardless is for my own personal comfort.
I was think I might be able to push the same horsepower as a TSI on a K04 with some bottom end upgrades.

It would be interesting to see a k04 setup making that. Seems like GIAC has it together on there k04 software. Making me think i may need to do a software change.

yeah, im still running giac ... theyre kool ... im always trying to switch tunes ... with my mk5, i"ll never go back to apr. but if i buy an mk6, its gonna be apr for sure ... the only reason i like revo, is cuz youre able to set the settings you want ...
yes. i was told by austin@giac and other ppl that it should be safe enough to use the stock ones ...
