i remember waving through Juha in his Celica GT4 on the way to a stage in the UK. Got a big thumbs up which made, oh, my whole year. Was my fave driver of that era - really, really smooth, always seemed to look slower on the stage but inevitably would be fastest.

don't think i could drive rally in this lifetime manual or not.
Everyone can drive rally. It's a matter of how afraid of dying you are and how much you practice. You might never be world champ... but shit it's fun. There's nothing like coming out of a corner you thought you'd clean up the trees on and shooting away to the next bend.
And how many cars you can afford to put into trees.
