I received a letter from VW advising me that my 05 GTI was about to make 1 year. So, it would be useful to do the anual check-up. So, I did it.
I was told, everytime I talked with the dealer about some details (before I got the car, last year), that it would be prepared to have the "longlife motor oil". Based on that, I checked the bill that was given to me, after this "anual check-up service", and I noticed that they have used a 100 syntethic oil (Castrol SLX 15W 40), but not a longlife oil, that would be the right one. And I paid about 114€ for 5 liters of that.
My question is..Is there any problem of using this kind of oil instead of the longlife one? I was told by the dealer that next week VW would contact me, in order to solve the problem....
What´s your opinion? Is there any problem?
