Interior Trim Piece Question?

I'm hoping I didn't throw the damn thing away by accident, but has anyone every purchased one of those chrome "beauty accents" for the center console air vent louvers? It's that rectangular chrome piece that fits in the center of the button on the grey vents.

It popped off and I'm afraid I may have accidentally tossed it (not realizing what it was when cleaning out car). At any rate, I called the local VW dealer and they (of course) only sell the entire center trim piece for about $70. Do you know of anywhere else these trim pieces can be found?

You'll need to buy the whole vent.

Try a local junk yard. Should be the same off any car from the MkV line-up

Thanks, but I was thinking that I could have just bought one of the smaller vents on dash and used the chrome piece from that. Didn't get a quote on the smaller vents since I was lucky enough to find the chrome piece down by the track in the driver's side seat. :thumbup:
