How Often do you Clean your Oiled filters ?

I live in dusty kuwait, so every 15,000km will do. Did that with my GTI still dod not reach that with my R having the intake

same here man , fuckin dust all over Bahrain at the moment , started thursday , with visibility of 3km because of the dust ,

u have K&N oiled ?

Its the standard Vflow intake, I used to clean ny GTI intake with the K&N cleaning kit.
It was a mess though, once cleaned the damn thing will turn black after 5000km

I do mine about every 3 months, regardless of mileage.

Maybe a good reason to go back to the orig intake or at least a dry one.
Easier to clean out.

Who me? I have an evoms, all I do is pull the filter and bang in on the ground and shake 99% of the crud out. A true cleaning and re oil is done about once a year
