I really need help!!! :help: I am getting Immoblizer Active and the car shuts down after 2 seconds. :iono: I have run some codes with a universal computer and I am getting:
01176 and 16897
01176 - Key: Signal too Low
Possible Causes
Immobilizer
Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Immobilizer Reader Coil faulty
Immobilizer Reader Coil faulty
Immobilizer Transponder in Key faulty OR incorrect Transponder in Key
Remote Control
Remote Control Battery low
Remote Control faulty OR incorrect Remote Control used
I dont have access to Vag Com. My warranty is long gone. And I really cant afford to pay to tow to VW and pay $100 an houors to have them fix it. If I could I'd rather pay a fellow Dubber and meet some new people at the same time.
Can anyone help Please? I am in Rutland Vermont
