Yep. MSRP on the 2012 Corvette Coupe is $49k, and MSRP on the 2012 Civic DX is $15k and change... and only fools pay MSRP. especially if you have cash... you can usually get cars at invoice or less with cash.
Audi RS3 if they would sell it here. Since that won't happen, I'd probably go used Elise and some sort of cheap hatchback for snow/hauling. I'd be one of the only clowns DD'ing an Elise :lol:
A new mustang 5.0 (base) and a lightly used 2008-2009 BMW 328xi/x-drive.
Should put me around 55-57k. Use the rest to start turning the 5.0 into a track beast.
Provides a nice comfortable awd daily driver and a car to beat the shit out of on the strip and track.
First car a Datsun 510, 240 or 260Z, or maybe something a bit newer and cheap to make into a track car like a first gen Miata.
Second car would be a hard decision. Test drive the Golf R and have a bunch of money left over to make it the way it should have been done or find out if I could really deal with a larger car and get a used...
