HELP: My "panic"/alarm keeps going off

Started happening yesterday. My horn started going off on its own. Grabbed my key fob and stopped it. It did this randomly three time yesterday evening.

Today, since I've come home from work this has happened an annoying six times! :mad0259: IDK why this is happening. Any ideas?

I've got a bunch of theories, but I'm hoping someone has a solid answer.

That was happening to me when my hood sensor was acting up.

Just to update and add closure to this thread, I messed with / wiggled the hood sendor wiring just a bit and that did the trick. Perhaps a loose connection. Hope this might help someone in the future (if they know how to use the search button).

That is the same thing that ended up fixing my problem. It took me a few days and a lot of frustration before the problem was solved. It's seems to happen when I drive in the rain here and there.
