my 1.9 TDI gets from as little as 5l/100km when on a country road through 6l/100km on the motorway all the way up to 7-7,5l/100km in the city

Yes I get more or less the same, how many km on your car? What type of diesel do you use? We have 50ppm here, that is what I use

We use the regular European diesel here, exactly the same type as in Germany.
The car has travelled 155k km so far.

Did you experience any problems so far?

Not really. The only one was that the turbocharger needed cleaning - quick and cheap to fix. Besides from that, everything is A-OK ;D

Hehe that Mk2 is a jewel... My family is the "first owner", it's a 1990.

Yeah, it's been driven a lot - it has nearly 300 000 km on the clock - I've driven it to Austria, Croatia, Germany, Croatia... all around Europe.

Now my girlfriend drives it to work every day. It's in perfectly good shape! You can see more pics in my garage section.
