Altimas are quick as far as sedans are concerned, but I wouldn't expect one to beat a chipped GTI. I've driven both, and to be honest, it felt very similar to my friends 06 6MT Accord V6 Coupe. The Accord would prob edge it out, and my car feels quicker than both.
Rev2Ten-K, hanging around a GTI board and calling BS on just about every kill that you personally disagree with is a bit annoying. I'll be the first to admit that some of these kill stories are far fetched to say the least, but this is one is not.

if the GTI is slow even modded GTI's are slow according to you then i guess Mazdaspeed 3's,G35's,Mustang GT's,350z's,Evo's,STI's,WRX's are all slow too...because that is the competition for a bolt on GTI....fast does not mean its a 500hp cobra....this is a under 30$ car, and for the price...it its indeed fast

Run your fast stock GTI against a slow stock family Altima V6 Sedan and then come and post back.
Then with your modded fast GTI go the track and race these altimas
