TrueDelta has updated results for the Jetta, Rabbit, and GTI based on owner experiences through September 30, 2010.
Other sources of car reliability information won't cover the months since April until the summer or even fall of next year.
Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2009 2.5: 48, about average
2009 2.0T: 31, better than average
2009 TDI: 55, about average
2008 2.5: 35, better than average
2008 2.0T: 47, about average
2008 R32: 27, better than average, small sample size
2006.5-
2007 2.5: 66, about average
2006.5-
2007 2.0T: 74, about average
2005.5-
2006 2.5: 77, about average, small sample size

2006 2.0T: 191, worse than average, small sample size

2006 TDI: 47, better than average
Good sample sizes for the 2007+ (except where noted). Other sample sizes were again below the minimum for a full result, so these results are asterisked and only visible to members on the site itself.

It would no doubt be a good idea to also post separate results for each gas engine for the MkIV and MkVI as well as the MkV. Just a matter of getting enough owners involved.
