I'm looking for a gps for around $300, anyone have any recommendations on which brand i should buy?
I am also thinking of buying a Garmin StreetPilot i3.

save a bit more and go for the nuvi350/360..once the 660 comes out their prices should drop a couple hundred..personally im saving for the 660 for the larger screen (4.3")

You can find some nice factory refurbished Magellen Roadmate 360s on eBay. A buddy of mine got one that he uses on his Dodge when doing vehicle transports across the country. Works very well!

and WOW the 350c actually weighs 75 pounds

C320 here. I bought a 1gb card and the C320 all for under $320. The 1gb card allows me to have all of North America. I've also got all the red light/speed cameras loaded into it. It does everything I need and it's portable.

yeah, I fabricated using a Kuda base and the stock arm that came with the Navi unit.
